Ashlee D. Manos

Licensed Acupuncturist + Herbalist, Master of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, Licensed Massage Therapist, Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher, Certified Holistic Birth Doula, Mother

Ashlee is passionate about combining all of these modalities in unique ways to help people discover greater depths of healing and allow the body, mind and spirit to return to its natural state of wellbeing.

Twenty years ago Ashlee’s life-long journey into the healing arts community began with becoming a massage therapist and soon after, a yoga teacher. Her dedicated practice in both, combined with a love for travel and an intimate immersion into nature, empowered her and brought her a tremendous amount of joy, freedom and greater mind-body awareness. This lifestyle lead Ashlee to further her education by dedicating four years to a Master’s in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, after it lead to her own profound personal healing.

She has now been a Licensed Acupuncturist based in Charleston, SC for the past eight years while continuing to practice massage and teach yoga. In her practice, Ashlee has experience treating a wide range of disorders and enjoys practicing acupuncture as a general practitioner. She has particular interests in working with women’s health, stress and pain management, insomnia, digestive disorders, grief, anxiety, depression, and preventative health. She considers it a great honor to facilitate the healing process for people along their path in discovering their greatest health.

After some of Ashlee’s prenatal patients asked for her presence at their birth and after experiencing the empowerment of her own natural home birth, she decided to get certified as a holistic birth doula. She has a deep love for supporting women in remembering their strength and power while journeying though their transformation of becoming a mom.

Additionally, Ashlee is a Co-Founder and Retreat Leader for MAHA Retreats, which offers holistic, adventure retreats in beautiful, healing settings. These retreats are a quest to pursue wholeness through immersion into the ancient wisdoms of Yoga, Meditation, Thai Massage and Chinese Medicine – including acupuncture, herbs, nutrition and essential oils. Exploring and combining these practices with adventure, playfulness and live music while reconnecting with nature guides us toward a deeper level of healing.
